What is a RevX® project template?
RevX® is actually… not a template at all. It is a project RVT file that has been developed by identifying the maximum scope of requirements for client and DOB deliverables. RevX® is a project developed to 93% completion of logistics by identifying and documenting redundant startup BIM requirements. This methodology eliminates the need to ever replicate the information that exists similarly in all CD sets. More specifically, RevX® is a project facilitating command and control of 901 sheets, 77 RSVP (Revit Synchronized Viewport) DWG files, 82 view templates, 97 custom duct and pipe system families, 32 worksets, and 101 shared parameters.
90% of a RevX® project that is not needed can be deleted in 1/100th of the time it takes to create the required 10% from scratch. RevX® generates quantifiable profit that grows exponentially in time over the life of a project and multiplies by the projects produced annually throughout the life of a firm. RevX® offers the options of developing 2D production 100% in Revit via 385 synchronized drafting boundaries or 100% in AutoCAD via 77 synchronized viewport DWG files. Both options are aligned with those 901 sheets. It orchestrates the collaboration of a MEP engineering team, facilitates a ballet of design between the trades, and simplifies control of document logistics.
Why not just use a Revit template?
In short… Time. You either waste yours… or pay someone to waste theirs.
In detail, MEP setup requires BIM technicians to review and adjust over 18,000 view graphic overrides when linking in other consultant models for optimal performance and critical construction documentation graphic standards. This process must be repeated for every newly linked model at the beginning of every new project. The process also must be adjusted per floor and again for the specific requirements of… E-LIGHT, E-POWER, FA FIRE ALARM, M-DUCT, M-PIPE, P-PIPE, SP-PIPE.
How much control is built into RevX®? What does that control mean?
1.5 million lines of code control a F-22 Raptor fighter jet; 3.5 million lines fly a U.S. military drone; 5.2 million lines navigate the Mars Curiosity Rover; 12.6 million executed commands spanning over 8 years of development to build RevX® and establish control over procedural protocols. That control determines the predictable results produced by RevX®. 8 years of evolutionary development to adjust and perfect the process, 3 skyscrapers at a time. 11 years to build a ballet of 610 keyboard commands, so they do not step on each other’s toes.

Annual profit = Total hours of current BIM production for an average project – time spent to produce that same project with RevX® x a firm’s hourly rate billed to a client x the projects billed for a quarter x 4 = Annual profit estimate when using RevX®.
